Katie Rees is well known for her photo scandal back in December of 2006, but recently she has made the news again. TMZ.com was the first to shed light on the details of Katie Rees's birthday party invitation (like they were with the racy photos of her performing scandalous sex acts on other women). The former Miss Nevada is throwing herself one heck of a 23rd birthday party. She is going all out, literally! Her party is set to be held at the topless pool, Bare Pool Lounge, at the Hotel/Casino the Mirage.
Back in October of 2006, the state pageant for Miss Nevada was held in Las Vegas and Katie Rees clenched the tiara and walked away as pageant winner. Then in December of 2006 pics of her licking other girls breasts and showing her own at a party started showing up all over the Internet. After that she was dethroned of her title and then could not compete in the Miss USA pageant. The pictures taken at night club in Florida ruined her pageant career, but at the same time still left some hope for becoming a model. The photos sure did get her name out and in to the homes of Americans though and made her famous!
The photos originally got out on the Myspace page of Tiffany Masters. Her relationship to Rees is still unknown along with how she obtained the photos. After she was dethroned she was replaced by Miss Nevada 2007 runner-up, Helen Salas.
It is kind of funny how all this happened right after the controversial pictures of Tara Conor drinking were released to the public, just a few months earlier. After her tiara was taken away Katie Rees has done close to nothing. She did appear on the Dr. Phil show "Caught in the Act" (how appropriate!). Now she is moving on to bigger and better things.
